Celebrating Together – A New Inclusion Project Our Foundation Is Taking Part In

The Humanitarian Foundation “Heroes of the Belgrade Marathon” is proud to participate in another exceptional project dedicated to supporting people with disabilities. The project “Let’s Rejoice Together” will be implemented in cooperation with the Sports Association of Persons with Disabilities of Belgrade, with the aim of enabling a closer connection between children with and without disabilities through a series of actions in primary schools and preschool institutions.

Our primary mission is to provide help and support in creating conditions for the inclusive development of preschool and school-aged children, while also encouraging children with disabilities to actively participate in various extracurricular activities, including those organized by the Belgrade Sports Association for Persons with Disabilities.

The project includes the organization of workshops titled “Step Into My Shoes,” through which children will get to know each other better and build closer connections through shared play and activities.
The goal of these activities is to help children without disabilities better understand and connect with their peers with disabilities, who are sometimes marginalized by their peers.
