The slogan of the Belgrade Marathon, which we proudly highlight, is – ALWAYS MORE.
In addition to the idea of making the Belgrade Marathon one of the best marathons in Europe and the world, providing every runner on the course with a unique and unforgettable experience in every race, and promoting the running movement and the entire concept of a healthy lifestyle in the best possible way, in line with our slogan, we also wanted to achieve even more.
We wanted to direct the tremendous positive energy from the running courses, as well as from around them—an energy that this largest sporting event in Serbia has been generating for years—toward higher goals and help those who need assistance the most.

– FOUNDATION –
The Belgrade Marathon, as the most massive sports event in Serbia, with a tradition spanning
nearly four decades, has gained exceptional reputation both domestically and internationally. The
fact that the Belgrade Marathon is included in the calendar of World Athletics and has the status
of an event of special importance for the City of Belgrade adds to the importance of this
prestigious race.
The significant impact and overwhelmingly positive image enjoyed not only among runners but
also in the broader public led the Belgrade Marathon to channel its influence in the noblest way
possible—by serving social responsibility. Inspired by the world’s major marathons, the ‘Heroes
of the Belgrade Marathon’ foundation was established.
