The Sava Insurance Family Race, held as part of the 4th Belgrade Half Marathon on November 26, 2023, on the streets of our capital city, had a humanitarian character.

In this unique 2.3-kilometre race, everyone could participate without any restrictions — either by running or walking together with their families and friends.

By participating in the race, they contributed to the promotion of sport and physical activity as one of the most effective methods for the prevention of non-communicable diseases.
At the same time, everyone who wished had the opportunity to show their humanitarian spirit by making a donation to support persons with developmental disabilities and the humanitarian organization “Children’s Heart.”

At the initiative of the “Heroes of the Belgrade Marathon” Foundation, a workshop with persons with developmental disabilities was previously organized, during which T-shirts for the Sava Insurance Family Race were hand-painted.
Everyone who wished could receive their own T-shirt by making a donation of at least 1,000 dinars, featuring designs created by the very individuals for whom this support was intended.

The funds collected through this initiative, totaling 130,540.00 dinars, were transferred to the account of the humanitarian organization “Children’s Heart”, which will use them to support persons with disabilities and help meet their needs.
