The successful cooperation between the Belgrade Marathon and the Belgrade Sports Association for Persons with Disabilities has continued. Thanks to the “Heroes of the Belgrade Marathon” Humanitarian Foundation, funds were secured and used for the purchase and installation of exercise equipment adapted for persons with disabilities.

The exercise equipment was installed at the outdoor facilities of the “Olimp” Sports Center in Zvezdara.
The official completion of the project was marked during the “Games Without Borders” event organized by the Belgrade Sports Association for Persons with Disabilities, which aimed to raise awareness about the importance of inclusion and providing support to all members of our community.
On that occasion, those present included Nemanja Radović from the Belgrade Sports Association for Persons with Disabilities, Damir Mikec and Sonja Vasić, representatives of the Olympic Committee of Serbia, as well as Darko Habuš, Director of the Belgrade Marathon.

Persons with disabilities are regular participants in the races organized by the Belgrade Marathon, so there is no doubt that the provided exercise equipment will help them prepare as well as possible for the upcoming running season.
