The \u201cHeroes of the Belgrade Marathon\u201d Foundation was one of the active participants in today\u2019s magnificent \u201cSport for All\u201d gathering at Belgrade\u2019s Aleksandar Nikoli\u0107 Hall, organised on the occasion of December 4, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this sporting event, organized by the Sports Association of Persons with Disabilities of Belgrade with the support of the Secretariat for Sport and Youth of the City of Belgrade, the importance of making sport accessible every day of the year\u2014for everyone, without exception\u2014was emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants of the event, most of whom were young people, had the opportunity to try wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, darts, boccia, and fun \u201cgames without limits,\u201d adapted to all levels of disability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On behalf of the \u201cHeroes of the Belgrade Marathon\u201d Foundation, Danijela Mitri\u0107 addressed the participants and visitors of the event, emphasizing that \u201csport is intended for everyone, without distinction.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are proud to be part of this event, which reminds us of what matters most\u2014that the strength of a community exists when there is mutual support. That is why inclusion is not just a term to be mentioned, but a value to be lived. For us at the Foundation, the fight for better conditions for persons with disabilities is not a campaign\u2014it is our obligation, our daily work, and a promise that we continue to reaffirm through concrete projects,\u201d said Mitri\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also announced the implementation of another successful project of the Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are nearing the completion of a very important project that will significantly improve the accessibility of sport and enhance the everyday lives of many people.\u201d \u201cWe will present it to the public next week at the Ta\u0161majdan swimming pool\u2014once again confirming that, when we join forces, we move boundaries together,\u201d concluded Danijela Mitri\u0107 on behalf of the Heroes of the Belgrade Marathon Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
