Special emphasis was placed on how running can help women more easily navigate hormonal changes and preserve their strength and health.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Mental Health and Psychological Resilience<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Dr. Lushna Mehra, a psychologist from New York (Weill Cornell Medicine), addressed the audience via video link and spoke about the psychological benefits of marathon running and the impact of physical activity on thoughts, emotions, and interpersonal relationships.<\/p>\n\n<p>Runners Milica Novkovi\u0107 and Natalija \u017divi\u0107 shared their experiences of balancing training, work, and family life, emphasizing the importance of sport in maintaining mental health.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1500\" height=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/herojibeogradskogmaratona.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/bgmaratonkonferencijatotalliveproduction2-69-css.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1318\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Social Inclusion and Removing Barriers<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>In the final part of the panel, the focus was placed on social inclusion and the obstacles that people with disabilities face in sports. The participants included Jelena Radivojevi\u0107, Master Professor of Sport and Physical Education and professional associate of SSOSIB, as well as Ivana Planojevi\u0107, President of the Zvezdara Association for Sport and Recreation of Persons with Disabilities.
