In general, the part of my work I value the most is the work through the Heroes of the Belgrade Marathon Foundation. The happiness shown by children and persons with disabilities when we provide them with support is immediate, sincere, and strongly motivating for all the steps that follow.\u201d  <\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cToday we came to visit the kids at the camp. We just finished a football match, and it was exciting right until the very end.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cWhat is very important for us is that the children stay at the camp without their parents, with a strong focus on developing their socialization and various life skills.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cInterest in the camp is greater than last year, so we hope that next year we will have three or even four groups.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" data-id=\"1268\" src=\"https:\/\/herojibeogradskogmaratona.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/liveproduction2herojibgdmaratonakamp2025total-2977-css-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1268\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" data-id=\"1260\" src=\"https:\/\/herojibeogradskogmaratona.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/liveproduction2herojibgdmaratonakamp2025total-2766-css-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1260\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"681\" height=\"1024\" data-id=\"1262\" src=\"https:\/\/herojibeogradskogmaratona.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/liveproduction2herojibgdmaratonakamp2025total-2883-css-681x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1262\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>The children\u2019s camp program is implemented thanks to the joint cooperation of the Heroes of the Belgrade Marathon Foundation, the Belgrade Sports Association for Persons with Disabilities, and the Red Cross of Belgrade.<\/p>\n\n<p>Nikola Prica, Secretary of the Red Cross of Belgrade, highlighted the importance of this program:<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cThe recovery stay of the first group, which was at the camp from July 1 to July 6, went excellently. This valuable cooperation with the Heroes of the Belgrade Marathon Foundation and the Belgrade Sports Association for Persons with Disabilities made it possible for a second group of children to enjoy nature, activities, and socializing, thanks to the donated funds.\u201d   <\/p>\n\n<p>Nemanja Radovi\u0107, Secretary General of the Belgrade Sports Association for Persons with Disabilities, also stated:<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-3 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" data-id=\"1276\" src=\"https:\/\/herojibeogradskogmaratona.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/liveproduction2herojibgdmaratonakamp2025total-3265-css-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1276\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" data-id=\"1282\" src=\"https:\/\/herojibeogradskogmaratona.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/liveproduction2herojibgdmaratonakamp2025total-3557-css-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1282\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>\u201cWe say that our participants go on a recovery stay, but in reality it is an opportunity for genuine socializing and enjoying nature. We make no distinctions \u2014 everyone is welcome, regardless of the type of disability.\u201d <\/p>\n\n<p>Darko Habu\u0161 also expressed his gratitude to all partners and supporters of the program:<br\/>\u201cThis initiative is the result of excellent cooperation between the Heroes of the Belgrade Marathon Foundation, the Red Cross of Belgrade, and the Belgrade Sports Association for Persons with Disabilities. Thanks to this shared energy, today we are sending off the second group of children with disabilities to stay in Bogova\u0111a.<br\/>The first group has already achieved remarkable results \u2014 progress in self-confidence, socialization, and everyday life skills.
