{"id":2031,"date":"2023-12-23T15:43:38","date_gmt":"2023-12-23T14:43:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/herojibeogradskogmaratona.rs\/sport-for-all-event\/"},"modified":"2026-03-08T23:48:31","modified_gmt":"2026-03-08T22:48:31","slug":"sport-for-all-event","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/herojibeogradskogmaratona.rs\/en\/sport-for-all-event\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Sport for All\u201d Event"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Support of the \u201cHeroes of the Belgrade Marathon\u201d Foundation for the \u201cSport for All\u201d Event<\/p>\n\n<p>On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Belgrade Sports Association for Persons with Disabilities organized the inclusive children\u2019s sports games titled \u201cSport for All\u201d for the sixth consecutive year.<br\/>Since one of the primary goals of the \u201cHeroes of the Belgrade Marathon\u201d Humanitarian Foundation is the protection and improvement of the position of persons with disabilities, Darko Habu\u0161, Director of the Belgrade Marathon, took an active part in this initiative. <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"510\" height=\"385\" data-id=\"1135\" src=\"https:\/\/herojibeogradskogmaratona.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/pic-02-sosib.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1135\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"510\" height=\"385\" data-id=\"422\" src=\"https:\/\/herojibeogradskogmaratona.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/pic-04-sosib.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-422\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>The event was held at the Aleksandar Nikoli\u0107 Hall and was attended by more than 500 participants, including both children and adults.<br\/>Children with disabilities, as well as children without disabilities from special and regular schools, day care centers, and clubs from Belgrade and several other cities in Serbia, had the opportunity to try various sports for persons with disabilities, draw and win different prizes, and above all enjoy spending time together.<br\/>The Director of the Belgrade Marathon, Darko Habu\u0161, was with them throughout the event, and at the end of this wonderful gathering he awarded them medals and certificates.  <\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cThe event primarily aimed to promote and maintain healthy inclusion, and to spread awareness in society that we are all the same and equal. It was very important to welcome everyone with a hug and a wide smile, showing that together we can achieve anything.<br\/>With pride and great satisfaction, we celebrated diversity while fostering equality, and that is exactly what \u2018Sport for All\u2019 represents.
