{"id":2025,"date":"2024-03-01T10:26:57","date_gmt":"2024-03-01T09:26:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/herojibeogradskogmaratona.rs\/launch-of-sms-donations-under-the-slogan-love-in-motion\/"},"modified":"2026-03-08T23:45:05","modified_gmt":"2026-03-08T22:45:05","slug":"launch-of-sms-donations-under-the-slogan-love-in-motion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/herojibeogradskogmaratona.rs\/en\/launch-of-sms-donations-under-the-slogan-love-in-motion\/","title":{"rendered":"Launch of SMS Donations Under the Slogan \u201cLove in Motion\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The \u201cHeroes of the Belgrade Marathon\u201d Foundation has once again put its humanitarian mission into action in the most effective way possible.<br\/>With the aim of improving the position of persons with disabilities, which is one of the core principles of the Foundation\u2019s work, a humanitarian SMS number \u2013 3023 \u2013 has been introduced and has been active since March 1.<br\/>By sending an SMS with the text HEROJI to 3023, 200.00 dinars will be donated, with the funds dedicated to improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities.   <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns are-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The importance of launching this humanitarian initiative is best illustrated by the fact that as many as 730,000 people in Serbia are persons with disabilities, representing around 10 percent of the country\u2019s population.<br\/>Statistical data also show that only 13 percent of them are employed, which means that a large number of persons with disabilities live in poverty.<br\/>Through this continuous donation initiative, the \u201cHeroes of the Belgrade Marathon\u201d Foundation aims to ensure that concrete assistance reaches those who need it the most. This humanitarian campaign will be carried out under the slogan \u201cLove in Motion.\u201d  <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/herojibeogradskogmaratona.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/2-1024x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1154\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>Ahead of the 37th Comtrade Belgrade Marathon, which will take place on April 28, support for persons with disabilities is also coming from the running community in Serbia.<br\/>Back in 2016, runners across Serbia began selling the kilometers they ran, and over the course of four years nearly three million dinars were raised.<br\/>This initiative, known as \u201cSMS for a Kilometer,\u201d is now returning in a big way.
